The very first step during the post production of “Document ‘Kaithel'” is to matchmove the plate.

Due to the complex movement of the footage, PFTrack plays a critical roll in the matchmove process.

Shot on Sony EX1, the plate has slight rolling shutter going on. A fix rolling shutter node are applied to the undistorted footage. Because its based on post analyses the rolling shutter fix only has about 90% accuracy.

By using selected frames from a reference footage shoot prior of the main shooting, PFTrack generates accurate position for each manual tracking point. This allows a much more accurate matchmove in the main footage.

After orientate and scale the scene based on onset measurement, camera is been exported to MAYA for rendering.
